Ear Infection

We took Grady to the doctor today and found out he has an ear infection. Poor little man. We gave him some medicine at about noon and he already seems to be back to his usual self. We were actually surprised that we didn't realize that he had an ear infection as he didn't grab at his ear. Hope he hasn't had it for too long...

Funny Guy

Grady does a few things that really crack us up. We went to the Children's Museum on Monday and Grady decided to dip his head into the frog pond. He didn't seem to mind the wet bangs too much.

Grady's Favorite Movies

Grady's two favorite movies right now are Kung Fu Panda and Horton Hears a Who. I am sure he will start to like other movies, but for now, he can watch either one over and over and over. We have a Po (Kung Fu Panda) and Horton stuffed animals that he will carry around. Here are a few pictures of him watching his movies.

More Snow Play

The weather was about 10 degrees warmer today; it really was not as bad of a winter as past years, it's been great! Grady and I took Jackson with us to the park so he could get some running time in. He loved being able to run around the park and he could because there weren't any other kids playing.

Look at him!
He got a haircut about a week ago from yours truly, not bad, huh?

For the Mama's Out There

There is a great site I found while looking for some activities for Grady and I to do. It looks like it was made about 15 years ago but it really is the most extensive site I have found thus far. It is $20/year to have full access to the site which I think is well worth it.

Snow Play

This last Sunday we went out and played in the snow, even though it was in the teens! Grady seems to really want to play in it lately so we decided to get him dressed for the weather and head out. We went to play at an elementary school that is right behind our house then off to Grady's favorite park right down the street.

Look at that red nose!

Doesn't he look like the kid from The Christmas Story?

Safety Curtain

Ever since I can remember, Grady has hidden somewhere when he goes big potty. He will hide where you "can't" see him. In the closet, in a box, and as of late, behind the curtain. Here's an example of him in action.

Children's Museum Visit

It has been a wee bit difficult trying to entertain a little one indoors these days. The weather has caused us to stay inside most the day so we are trying to find ways to keep the rambunctious 2 year-old busy.

Yesterday we went to our Tiny Tots swim class which we will be going to every Monday for the next 10 weeks (wish I had pictures from that!) He seemed a bit overwhelmed at first but he soon got used to the overly caffeinated swim teacher.

Today my mom, Grady and I went to the Children's Museum.

SNOW!!

It has snowed a lot lately and we have had to stay inside because of it. We ventured out for walk the other day and found it to be quite frigid! Here are some pictures from our chilly walk.

Daddy's really cold here!

Being the little boy he is, Grady had to sneak some snow while Kris was putting his gloves on
The gloves were off in about a minute

Even Jackson was cold!!
