Christmas Night

We had such a great Christmas and I think Grady had the best one so far!! He got a ton of books, a train set, a firehouse, Toy Story dolls and a basketball hoop. These gifts should keep him busy for the coming months.

Snow Play

Daddy and Grady went to the park while I made some Christmas cookies. It's been great to have the snow around this time of year. It is snowing right now and should continue throughout Christmas day.

Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Aunt Margie sent us chocolate covered strawberries and cheesecake for Christmas. Grady likes to eat just the chocolate and leave the strawberries for us. Thanks Margie for the yummy treats!!

We had a few tokens left over from Grady's birthday so we went over to Chuck E Cheese's to have a little fun! Grady loves Chuck E. Cheese and gets so excited every time we go. He especially loves to ride in the car next to Chukie!

Falling Asleep

The other night Grady was watching Kung Fu Panda while laying on Jackie. Apparently he was tired because he fell asleep right on top of him!! How sweet and funny at the same time.

SNOW!!!

It snowed yesterday for the first time this year here in Chicago! It snowed about 5 inches so we got a good deal to look at for the first snow. Grady woke up, looked outside and wanted to go see what this beautiful stuff was. A few pictures of Grady in the back of the house and of the street.

Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving, Grandma and Grandpa came over and we started cooking around 10 a.m. We had homemade Bloody Mary's while Grady had farm fresh chocolate milk. Dinner was ready at 5 and we had a feast of food. We had such a great time as a family and I couldn't have asked for more out of a relaxing vacation day. Feast below...

Outside Play

It's the end of November and the weather here has been exceptional; between the 30's and 60's. We have been taking advantage of it as much as possible. Lately, Grady has been loving playing on the back porch. Here are some pictures of porch time....

Lunch with Walt Dewing

Last week we went to lunch with the father of a good friend from high school, Walt Dewing. He was in Chicago for work and met up with us for lunch at the California Pizza Kitchen. It was great to catch up with him and nice for him to be able to meet Grady and Kris for the first time!

Wine Taste

Grady saw that I had a glass of wine and wanted his own. So Daddy made him a glass with some juice. He even did a little cheers and clang to my glass!

Mama's 29th Birthday

Mama turned 29 and we went out to celebrate! My mom and John joined Kris, Grady and I for a little authentic Mexican dinner at Adobo Grill in Old Town. Yummy! Later, John and I went out on the town and had a few drinks. It was so nice spending time together and we are so lucky to have such a wonderful family!
