Children's Museum - Suburbs
Yesterday we went to the suburbs of Chicago (Glenview) to buy a membership at the Children's Museum they recently built. It's not too far away from us since we live in the north part of Chicago and Glenview almost borders the city. We had a ton of fun and it is HUGE!

Our Woodlands House
I have been thinking about our house in the Woodlands we sold before we moved to Chicago. I really do miss it. So many things I miss about it. I do love it here in Chicago, but the winter really does keep you indoors and this is one thing I loved about Houston, we were able to be outside all of the time. I asked Kris if he would contact our real estate agent and get the professional pictures they took when we put it on the market. I wasn't sure if they still had them but it was our lucky day.

Ear Infection - Part Mama
Lately I have been feeling under the weather, may have caught a bug that Grady brought home from preschool. I started feeling yucky on Friday and by Tuesday morning, I felt like hell. Kris came home to take care of me and I went to the doctor's today to get checked out. Whaddya know...I have an ear infection. My doctor said I most likely got it from Grady. Ear infections are contagious??

Winter Storm
The winter storm hit Chicago Tuesday. It was so much snow, more than I have ever seen here. We had been looking at the snow out the window all day long so later that night we decided to get the snow clothes on and go outside. Kris scooped the snow from the porch, Grady and I played in it and Jackson was having a blast running up and down the sidewalk with a few other dogs

Choc Choc Cake
I bought some Debbie swiss rolls for Grady and when I give them to him , I call them chocolate cake. He calls them "choc choc cake". He loves sweets!
I have been teaching Grady to blow his nose but he can't quite understand how to actually blow his nose. He will go and get a paper towel from the kitchen and make a noise like he is blowing his nose.
If I give him food that has sour cream or cream cheese (any condiment for that matter) he will eat just the condiment with his finger. Is sour cream really that good??

Feeling Better
We have been staying indoors due to Grady's illness and icky weather. He LOVES being outside so this has been our latest hardship. He will get in his stroller so we can go outside but when I tell him it's too cold out and we aren't going out today, he gets very upset. We woke up to snow yesterday morning and since he has been feeling better, we went out and played!
